Great for the Glamour Girls, GirlyGirls, or Princesses.

From girly make overs to princesses, fairies and little Tinker Bells - Stick on body gems, jewels & rhinestones plus sparkles are sure to be the perfect combination of glamour for your birthday girl.

I bring with me a "treasure" trove of gems, jewels and stick on rhinestones to choose from. Stars, Crystals, Hearts, Flowers, Butterflies to large center stones in an array of colors and sizes along with stick on earrings. I assist her in putting together and choosing her special design so it is exactly how she envisioned it would be. She is the only one at her birthday party to have this option of adding "gems, jewels or rhinestones" to whatever design she chooses as well as a sparkly hairdo & mesh butterfly clip, so to further set her apart from all her guests on "her" special day and truly be the most "glamorous" of them all.

If she decides to not have them added to her design then a necklace and bracelet are great additions. All guests are entitled to sparkles of course and any design they choose or imagine. As a small memorable keepsake of her most cherished design, the mesh butterfly clip, gems, jewels & rhinestones can be saved for scrap booking or to adorn her photo of her birthday design when the party is long over.
A word about my paints: face paint has evolved tremendously over the last 20 or so years. The paint I use is all FDA approved & Hypo-Allergenic & has a child safety rating. It does not cake, crack or flake when dry. All paints that I use are a theatrical grade of professional make up that cannot be bought in a craft store with brand names such as Wolfe Brothers, Mehron, Paradise, Snazaroo and Krylon to name a few. They are all FDA Approved for use on the skin and have an antibacterial agent added to them so they are totally safe for any age. It is VERY rare to have any kind of reaction. The paint is removed easily with soap and water or baby wipes. Some colors contain a higher pigmentation so additional washings may be needed. Face paint should ALWAYS be water soluble & deemed safe for use on the skin. 
“ACRYLIC PAINT” ALSO CALLED “CRAFT PAINT” IS NEVER USED NOR SHOULD IT EVER BE APPLIED TO THE SKIN, it is not safe & if you read the label it is great for paper, wood, cement, plastic but NEVER human skin.
To ensure the date you would like, please book early, especially in the summer months because Make A Face attends many public events (See Upcoming events list).

Make A Face is fully insured so one can book with confidence. Karol from Make A Face will call a few days prior to your event in order to confirm the details. Commitments are taken very seriously to make the day as special as possible and leave one with no worries.

Make A Face requires no deposit just payment day of services, cash or check accepted. In order to book a party Make A Face would need your full name, home phone, street address of the party, approx. # of attendees & birthday child’s name if appropriate for event. Based out of Merrimack, NH. Make A Face will travel to your event destination arriving with everything that is needed, you supply the attendees. Children can't wait to climb up into the painting chair to be "transformed" into whatever their hearts or imagination desires.  Adults become very willing once they see the designs & art work themselves.
Pricing for birthday/private parties is based on the approximate number of children & the town/state party is being held. For birthday parties I use the more elaborate choice board. For birthday girls please see “Gems & Jewels” page for more detailed information. For birthday boys they get to choose an additional design to have to set him apart from all his guests. Any additional information would be helpful such as a theme etc. 

Glamour make up & eye accents for proms, weddings, semi formals, dances or a special events are based on travel & number of individuals. Please email for availability/ appointment.

Large scale community events are based on space fees or hourly rates. For large scale events a simplified choice board is used in order to accommodate a large crowd. If additional painters are needed I can arrange coverage to accommodate the need. I can design events to meet your standards. Please email for hourly rate as it fluctuates with amount of participants & time frame.

Step by step designs to inspire your talent & creativity

    We first met you at the Hopkinton fair 3 years ago, you painted mydaughter every time(extraordinary detail & very precise). Then again at the Deerfield Fair & much to our surprise we ran into you again at the Sandwich Fair. My daughter was at her happiest when we saw your tent & banner, of course we bee lined there first, shehad the gems & jewels fantasy face this time, and sure enough she did not want to wash it off. Wow - she kept it on for 2 days and reluctantly agreed to wash it off. But saved the jewels.

    Just a quick note to say thank you and to let you know how much we all enjoyed your services. You were prompt, professional and needed NOTHING from me except many excited children, which I happily supplied. Everyone was amazed at the time you took with each child's design & your generosity of patience. The execution of such detail & fine workmanship was flawless, you know what your doing that is for sure. We had such a wonderful time watching the children & yes some adults.     Hi Karol,

    I'm so glad I found your website.  I first met you at the Rib Fest in Nashua this past year. We happen to pick a day that ended up pouring in the afternoon and got caught in the pouring rain. The Batman face painting of course  smeared which is expected  but my son try to convince me without success that it was fine and didn't need to washed off.  The kids were not happy with us I have to say when we washed their faces. LOL
    After having his face painted like Batman we have tried to have it recreated wherever we went when facepainting was offered. Needless to say, my son was disappointed each time. I had to remind him of his manners and to always thank the person for trying. I read your website and agree with all the great comments you have gotten. Ethan is absolutely thrilled and I will most likely win the mother of the year award from him.  He can't believe that I have you coming but I did have to tell him that he couldn't invite everyone.

    We first met Karol at the 2006 Manchester Boys & Girls Club Day for Kids in Manchester, NH.

    We were set-up at our exhibit, and suddenly we started to see kids walk by with INCREDIBLE animal full face-paintings!!  With the hundreds of events we attend all across Northern New England, we see ALOT of face-painters, but Karol by far is the best we have ever seen! She travels out of Merrimack, NH.
